Poppy Appeal

Every November the group takes to the streets to help raise money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Since 1995 4JAS have raised £35,392.83 on behalf of the Appeal and in aid of ex-servicemen and their dependants.

For More information about the Royal British Legion and it's benevolent work email info@britishlegion.org.uk or visit www.britishlegion.org.uk

The RBL Poppy Appeal and the Royal British Legion as a whole are always looking for people willing to assist it's work in whatever way they can as it is desperately short of helpers.

If you would like more information about working as a volunteer for the Poppy Appeal or with the Royal British Legion then visit www.britishlegion.org.uk

With thanks to Lisa Burrell of the RBL and The Royal British Legion for their kind permission to use the above links and the Appeal logo.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them.

When you go home tell them of us, and say,

For your tomorrows, we gave our today.
